What If You Delete the Windows Folder?

If you show a massage out of space of the C drives then you want to delete some files from the C drive so I tell you which file you can delete and which file you cannot delete. If your windows partition is full. You have any windows link those windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 is take to space on the C drive or Windows Drive. Then windows give error massage low space or low storage. Then two solution of this problem one of the solutions is remove temp file from the windows partition or removes some other file and second solution is extended the windows partition or C drive. In this post we discuss about both solution in detail. 

1. Delete Windows file using software

The best option is used software they built-in tool of the windows they can help to remove unwanted file of folder like that Disk cleanup or Storage Sense. You have many file inside the windows folder and some outside the windows folder.  If you install the fresh windows than create a system restore point. The help to restore the windows. So when you restore the windows then windows again fresh like that just install the windows.

You can use software Disk space Analyzer Freeware. This software find out the unwanted file of the windows folder and manage the windows file and folder correctly.

You can remove the temporary file location of the temporary folder available the windows folder is  C:\Windows\Temp. In which folder mostly backup of the installation software file, internet file and some internet file password.

2. Hibernate disable

Hibernate is basically used for the present state of the windows. This state saved keen on hiberfil.sys file. This file used 70% to 80% memory of the computer so if the computer has 6 to 8 GB memory so that 4GB to 6 GB memory occupied hibernate file. Firstly check the file is enabling then you can disable the file. If you file is enable so you can disable file using command commend is powercfg.exe /hibernate off. This comment is disabling Hibernate file.

3. Windows. Old organizer

If C Drive have old windows folder. This folder creates due to install windows without formatting or updates the new windows. Basically it is using for restore the old windows. If you do not want to restore the old windows. Then you can delete it. Windows cannot create any problem.

4. Downloaded Program Files

C Drive has a program folder. In this folder have internet explorer and Active X or other unused file and folder. You can delete it if you cannot use it. Because it is old technology if you do not use old technology then you can delete it.

5. Fonts

Windows have fonts folder mostly fonts do not used. If you cannot use fonts mostly font then you can remove unused font and create the free space in the c Drive or Windows folder.

6. Temp web pages folder

Sometime temp web folder creates in which save offline page they page access direct without the internet so you can delete it if you cannot use it.

7. WinSxS folder

winSxS folder is not remove of delete they have a system file due to this reason this file or folder do not delete. winSxS folder cannot exist in on any other volume than the system volume.  This is the NTFS file system link. If you want to remove or move it the may be your windows update, software installation not install correctly. If you try to delete it they you cannot remove or delete it due to the system file because in which some file run in the system space.

If you can run the command /AnalyzeComponentStore. This commend tell us about the WinSxS folder that cleanup or not. If you want to cleanup so run he comment. This comment remove unnecessary or Temp file from the WinSxS folder and folder is stay there.

Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

This comment remove temp or unused file and clean the winSxs folder.

In windows 11/10/8.1/8 you can open Disk Cleanup Tool and then option is windows Update cleanup then clean the winSxS folder. So you can easy to use this tool.

8. Using Compact Windows

You can use the compact comment for Windows then comprise the windows file.

Compact.exe /CompactOS:query

This comment use for windows 10 for reducing the file of windows

Compact.exe /CompactOS:always

So you can use so step to windows run properly so I can show this video show that if you can remove windows folder then what happed with the windows. Windows file is corrupt or not or windows not run properly this experiment on windows 10 so I try to remove the windows folder they can to remove and then I try to remove system 32 file and some other windows file with in the windows folder. You cannot remove or delete it. So I restart the window then see that the windows not run but windows 10 is run properly and then again I try to remove some other windows file with in the windows folder so I analyses that windows is running properly. Windows 10 is very secure windows you cannot remove the windows when run the windows.
